I have tons of Monday Movies and/or shows that I like to watch during the Christmas season. I find that watching them helps with two things. One, it keeps me from stressing out from ALL the stuff that needs to be done before the BIG DAY by calming me down and puts me in a pretty good mood.
Two, I love the family tradition we have of watching different movies or shows together that helps make the season feel like Christmas. Some drinks, plenty of snacks, an afghan to get comfy under and we’re ready to go. I like family traditions and it seems my family likes this tradition of Christmas movie watching too.
START YOUR FAMILY TRADITION
I got to thinking that maybe your family would like to start a similar tradition if you haven’t already. I’ve put together a list of both older and newer movies and shows that are usually available to watch during this season. It’s just not Christmas to me without watching Rudolph or How The Grinch Stole Christmas, both shows my kids loved when they were younger. When I was growing up, we just had to watch Miracle on 34th Street whether it was the older version or the remake(s). We liked them all.
I’m not going to choose and then review several different movies or shows this go-round. Instead, I put together a list so that you and your family can choose more easily what you may want to watch. Most of the titles on the list I have watched and there isn’t a lemon in the bunch. So enjoy!
Last couple of seasons, we seem to like The Christmas Shoes. And if you’ve never watched that movie, it’s worth a watch, but beware. Make sure there is plenty of tissue around when watching this movie.
You know, as I was putting this post together, I began to think of different SNACKS that are out there. So I’m going to share with you.
Drum role, please—here’s the list!
What is one or two of your family’s favorite Christmas movies or shows.
