This is the time of year we all start looking at what new trendy gadgets are out there. I know I do, so I started looking around and doing research. I like knowing what new toys are out there. I wanted to stay within the health and wellbeing category and thought I might find one or two new items. In reality, I found 11!
I found some interesting stuff. Some of the gadgets I knew about and others I had never heard of, but think they are excellent ideas. Like a self-cleaning water bottle. Or a portable metabolism tracker or even a brain sensing headband.
Sound cool, don’t they? I hadn’t heard or read about any of the three items I just mentioned, so I did some more research on these gadgets and will be sharing what I found with you. Ever wonder if you truly have a slow metabolism? This gadget can help you find out. I’m definitely seriously thinking about getting this very cool and very handy little trendy gadget.
Larq Self Cleaning Water Bottle
This water bottle has a double-walled design that keeps your drinks hot or cold for hours. Ever have one of your favorite water bottles accumulate a build-up of any kind inside? This water bottle will take care of that for you. UV lights have been built into the bottle so that you can sanitize your water bottle to keep the bacteria away.
And that’s not all—this water bottle also filters your water. It cleans itself, filters your water and keeps what you’re drinking hot or cold for quite a while. What more could you want in a drinking bottle?
Fitbit Sense Smartwatch
My go to for a fitness tracker is definitely Fitbit. That’s because these trendy gadgets are easy to use and the newest product of the Fitbit family is the advanced smartwatch, the Fitbit Sense. It does the usual tracking of calories, steps, heartbeat, etc.
But the Sense also has a blood oxygen sensor, stress measurement metrics, ECG readings and a skin temperature reader. With all these sensors, the Fitbit Sense can alert you and your doctor before you even feel anything happening. And on top of that, this watch can fully charge in less than 15 minutes.
Fitbit Aria Air 2 Smart Scale
Fitbit has another trendy gadget this year, and it’s not a watch. Instead, it’s a bathroom scale that is packed with bells and whistles to help you stay healthier.
This scale will give you a ton of information such as your muscle mass and body fat percentage, BMI and, of course your weight.
This trendy gadget will work with up to eight users while at the same time keeping personal info for each user private.
And after gathering all this info, the scale will then sync it to your Fitbit app on your phone.
Leaf Urban Health Tracker
Finally, a health tracker that isn’t a watch. The is a piece of jewelry that can be worn as a necklace, bracket or a clip. And it comes in two other styles.
This activity tracker helps with stress prediction, sleep monitoring, guided meditations and can even keep track of your cycle and ovulation dates.
If you are trying to conceive this could be the trendy gadget for you. Skip high tech for this sophisticated accessory made just for women. It’s modern looking and classically designed, yet high tech, safe, and easy to use.
Key Smart CleanTray Sanitizer
To me this is a great idea for cleaning your cell phone because I don’t know about your phone, but I’m forever wiping mine off. I love that this UV sterilization case can help me keep my phone cleaner than it’s ever been. It does not take the fingerprint off, but it zaps the bacteria that our phones come into contact with.
This sanitizer is eco-friendly, compact enough to be portable and you can add essential oils to make everything smell good.
And you can clean anything that fits in the case such as car keys (another nasty), ear buds, jewelry and anything else you can think of. Keep the case handy in the kitchen or a bathroom.
KPP Wand Sanitizer
This trendy gadget is an excellent idea to add to your packing list when you travel. With a light wavelength of 260-280nm, it would take care of sanitizing the hotel bed pillows, sheets and definitely the toilet, shower and sink, getting rid of all kinds of pathogens, viruses and bacteria.
The KPP Wand Sanitizer has a disinfection rate of over 99%, is chemical free and is definitely travel friendly. This wand has a child safe design and one of the best things about it besides killing germs is that it is wireless and fast charging and has a child safety lock.
Ketone Breath Analyzer
First, I have to admit that I’m not a name brand person. When I was researching ketone breath analyzers, I thought some are definitely on the expensive side while others seem too inexpensive. Therefore, I’m going with a middle of the road analyzer.
I would think anyone going on a keto diet to lose some serious weight would be very interested in having one of these gadgets.
I didn’t even know they were out there, but I’m definitely getting one and that’s the one I’m going to tell you about. The one I’m looking at is the Keto Meter.
With this little gem you can see if you are in ketosis two different ways. From your blood or your breath. It can give you your ketone rate in 6 different levels from barely in ketosis to off the charts.
I like that I can find out what level of ketosis I’m in from my breath since that seems to be a better measure of what your body is actually using for fuel.
It’s because 80% of fat that we burn leaves the body through our lungs. So, the acetone in our breath is an actual byproduct of the fat burning process.
Blueair Blue Pure 411 Air Purifier
The Blueair air purifier may have a compact body, but its power will cleanse your home of harmful airborne pollutants. The activated carbon removes odors and gas while HEPASilent filtration technology removes over 99% of particles. (pet dander, dust, pollen and smoke).
Each Blueair air purifier offers three fan speeds for various size rooms and the pre-filter is washable. An added bonus is how quiet it is making it easy for you to sleep even though this trendy gadget may be running.
Pure Daily Care Nano Steamer
Want to pamper yourself after a hard day, or a good day, or a fun day or any kind of day? Try this trendy gadget on for size. Nothing like a home spa. This baby even has a towel warming chamber.
With its micro-steam technology your skin will be hydrated, plumped up and clarified. You’ll get 30 minutes of steam time that will help unclog your pores, soften wrinkles and will boost your circulation with regular use.
This trendy gadget is multifunctional as it can also be used as a humidifier, all for under $50.
Pain Relief With The Techcare Massager Touch 24
Tens units (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator) have come a long way since my family started using them at least ten years ago. This drug free pain relief system is also a PMS unit (powered muscle simulator) that creates a low-voltage pulse to the area it is attached to.
That pulse stimulates nerve endings and fibers which in turn blocks the pain signal to your brain. That pulse also increases endorphins which are a natural pain reliever.
With this trendy gadget you’ll get 24 preprogramed massage modes with touch screen, a rechargeable internal lithium battery and up to 20 hours of continuous use.
You can also program two different electrodes with different strengths at the same time. The Techcare Massager is under $50.
Muse 2: Brain Sensing Headband
If you are at all curious about how your brain works, you may want to give this headband a try. The Muse 2 tracks and gives feedback when you wear the headband while meditating.
This trendy gadget provides soundscapes to meditate by and guide your mind into mindfulness and focus.
It connects to an app on your smart phone to give you feedback on your mind and body signals during each meditation sessions which helps with your mental wellbeing. And no need to wonder if you are meditating correctly, even though there really isn’t a right or wrong way to meditate—but that’s another article.
Studies show that meditation helps relieve stress and improves mental performance and relaxation. The Muse 2 helps with all this while at the same time tracking and measuring your progress.
